Forever Home Day ~June 15, 2005~
From the rescue group:
The rescue group went to the shelter to pick up some other dogs, and
the shelter asked if they would take him, he was on his way to be
euthanized.
The owners turned him in, said he was having seizures and didn't
want him anymore. They wouldn't even tell them what his name was.
He is about 2-3 yrs old and more than likely he has epilepsy.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He is very under weight, his hip, rib, and spine bones are just
sticking out. When he first came to us he weighed 3.7 lbs, he should
weight about 5-6 lbs.
Bailey had a rough time when he first came to us, he was sick.
For the first month, he had pneumonia; his coughing was so bad,
no one got any sleep for the first month. After 4 different antibiotics, the coughing
has gotten better and he finally started eating on his own.
But besides all of this, he really is a good boy, he goes to the
back door when he wants out. He loves to be held. He acts like
he doesn't know what treats or toys are and hasn't really played.
