Nick loved when we had guests', he was always the friendliest. He always wanted to sleep with the guest, especially Dave's son, David.

Nick always liked his space, when he was sleeping, he didn't like to be disturbed, he would let out a growl at you, especially when he got older. He was also a big snorrer, he sure could keep you up at night. I don't know who was worse me or him (Poor Dave never got any sleep).

Nicky loved to play, he like to play chase, to where you couldn't catch him. Nicky also liked playing with the Christmas wrapping paper rolls, he would put them in his mouth, and try to take them out the doggie door, it was so funny. He also liked to play tug-a-war.

Before anyone else, it was just Nicky, who use to have the run of the house. One day Dave got home before me and Nick had taken about 4 rolls of toilet paper and shredded it all over the house, well Dave called me at work an said "your dog", well I came straight home and cleaned up the mess. It was so cute! Then we found Nick a playmate, Kcin, to keep him company while we were at work. Them came Zeke, Torri and Casper.

Nick loved to go for car rides, he would sit on Dave's lap and hang his head out the window. Nick would also go out every night and bark at the moon, we had to call him in, so the neighbor's wouldn't get mad.

When Nick got older, the only thing he got excited about was dinner, he would bark at me for 5 minutes until I had dinner ready. As he got older his back legs didn't work as good and he got a little more testy, but loved when you scratched under his chin and around his ear's.

Nick was our number one boy. He brought us so much love. He was the happiest boy around and so outgoing. He will be missed, no one could ask for a pal better than him. He will be in our hearts forever.
